It seems like the TGV golfers here have taught me too well. Perhaps I am the best at using a MadCatz turbo controller? I posted five long drive challenges yesterday and none have been busted. I've zoomed up into 9th place on the leaderboard...and plan to slow down or retire real soon to play head to head golf. PUDDTHUMPER perhaps went into early retirement already after hitting exactly 1,000,001 points. That number has not changed in over a week. Most 360 long drive challenges are busted a minute after they go up...24/7. I double dog dare you long hitters to bust my challenges. Heck...on Pebble's back nine dogleg par 5 (I think hole 14) all I did was fly the trees...like you guys taught me to do. It ain't rocket science...but I did hit it really far using a little trick. Just use the search feature to find them. 1. Select Long Drive. 2. Press the "Y" button for search. 3. EA SPORTS GamerNet Channel (Long Drive), Player (All), Course (All), Hole (All), Win Condition 1 (Land on the fairway), Win Condition 2 (Shot Distance), Win Condition 3 (None), Points (200+), Difficulty (All) and Busted (Not Busted). 4. Remember - If you see a ball at the end of the fairway and 1 inch from the green on any challenge...you can land the ball arround the green on the fringe and it counts as landing on the fairway. This is how I beat those "ran out of fairway" challenges. I didn't know that at the beginning. --------------------------------------------------- DetonatorMole challenges: Westchester 14 - Brand new and may get busted soon. I felt the need to post something easy. You just need to hit the ball at 121-122%. It is not a boost glitch hole. I think I only gave it 120%. The really hard ones: All drives done with an expert 8.5 degree driver set to 100% power. Nothing special. I didn't mess with the loft. Very stock set-up. 1. Pebble 476 ! ! ! - This is the back nine par 5 at Pebble where you cut the dogleg by using a fully lofted driver and nuke the ball over the trees. All of you know this shot. 2. Too Many Trees ! ! ! - It's not Pebble...I don't know what course it is actually. I just ignored the dogleg and flew the trees...pretty darn far though. Very nice hole...perhaps a new course for this year? 3. Pebble Beach 9 - A simple down hill par 4. Just loft the driver and let the ball float a little past the green and land on the fringe. The fringe counts as fairway. 4. OFF * THE * ROCK - This was an accident. I shanked the ball and it hit a rock and beat the other guys challenge. It may be the longest drive ever for Wolf Creek 1. The cartpath or boost will not get the ball that far down the fairway. 5. Harbour Town 2...24mph! - Sets up really great for a nice fade off the tee. There is plenty of fairway left...so I honestly don't know why anyone has busted it. Maybe I hit it with 122% - I forget. Now...there are a few guys that post really hard stuff...but I am able to bust most of them after some trial and error. Good Luck. I owe most of what I know about hitting long drives from Gregg. That first cartpath challenge that he posted on the PS3 the first year was real hard, very cool...and taught me a ton of tricks. Thanks.
