Thanks guys!

Here is a cockpit view through some traffic at Dover.  I have a save around the 2 minute mark or so then I go in to rub the bastard a little bit around 2:27 or so:

Oh, ps, if anyone even looks at this string, Evan, you have a special guest appearance in the form of a notification - I should add you to the credits (there is a fight going on outside...)

You racing offline or online in these?  Next time you get blocked by the lap traffic you need to get Earnhardt Sr. on their asses.    And I'm still waiting to see the "big one."

E, I can always count on atleast one person to look at these - thank you!  lmfao on the big one, I think I had about 12 of them today.  Seriously, Jamie McMurray's 26 ride was going 194 mph backwards and the rear end lifted up in reverse and he flew over like, well, everything.  I'm pretty sure his car is still flying as I speak/type. HA

Nice.   You should put that in the vid.   Get the fast speed effect going then slow it down as the car barrels uncontrollably over the track.

I like it.  I need to get either a video camera or something more than my 2GB memory card in my camera that is pointing at the tv.  It does the trick but that sucker had run out of memory at the worst times.  I've missed alot of that good stuff.  Its not a game that is easily pausible when the memory beep goes off.  Its about the rythm to me and I can't let go of the wheel or let off the gas.  The Rainbow Warrior would be proud at least, I guess.(That one was for you mike)

Key for taking out the lap cars....if you have a comfortable lead that is. Come up on their passenger rear, just behind the rear tire, and pull a hard left. Gets the car around and has a great chance of collecting the field behind you. If the lappers have no respect, you must teach it.

Keep adding the vids Steamer....I love that Buckeyes car! Also a big one a Martinsville is always sweet, especially if you trigger it coming out of turns 2 or 4!

Thanks dude and thanks for the tip, kind of like when someones front bicycle tire meets someones back tire huh?

Yeah, E wants a big one too.  I gotta get it all setup for those races where they happen.  Phoenix ealrier would have been perfect as I was leading most of the race and the ai's in the rear kept getting into trouble and having some monseter wrecks.  (Like 4 of them over 31 laps.) I loved it as I knew each time the field was getting a little slower while I kept clean.

Personally, I would rather see the Ohio St. car tumbling thru the midfield flipping over and over about 12 times.

lol.  Arrangements can always be made...I have rolled it going over a hairpin at Infineon but I don't recall having gone airborne myself yet.

Do you have that problem of rollovers on all road courses? If you do and you have a setup option called Nose Weight, add + (positive) nose weight to the car to keep from rolling. On the PS2 version the last 2 years it was an option and fixes many the rollover problem. On the flip side if you have a car the refuses to get the nose into the corner (the old flying brick is tight) try less nose weight. Had to go negative at Martinsville to get the girl to turn.

If I recall, it was from having far too high of front spring settings.  I was getting frustrated with the whopie dee do hills and always spinning (I wasn't feathering/letting of the accelerator coming over the first whoop dee do.  Ironically, it was at the tight hairpin and I didn't even think I went over the rumble strip too fast but the car flew up and rolled left then did another full roll - hit the sweet spot I guess.  I fixed it but it was kind of fun, once.

10-4 on the nose weight.  That is a big adjustment in 09 for sure...brake bias then being adjusted accordingly as needed by track is helpful too for tightening it up or loosening it on corner entry.  I love this stuff.
