Really bad lag (Full Version)

I was playing an online match last night (on the PS3) and I had such bad lag I couldn't even swing my club. The timer just kept timing out. I could see the other guys shot line so he was unaffected. It was so bad I had to quit. I played a lot of matches and this was the first time I saw this. Has this happened to anybody else? I am wondering of something fishy was going on with my opponent.

...was your opponent from the Beginner's lobby?  and did his name start with a "T" and end with a "y"?   [&o]

...otherwise, I may have encountered something similar once this year...couldn't get a shot off (not sure if it was lag though).  I think I had to quit out as well.

Me and CCC had it last night on Sawgrass Back.Only could get 115% and it was a choppy swing also.After 2 holes it cleared right up.And Why are  you picking on that TommY that plays in begginers loby for Dennis?[>:]

Its the game happened 2 me offline twice online twice also

One time I was on the tee box on the first hole and I could zoom out and but my stick would not swing..........I had to hit the ps3 button and reassign the controller.

I don't think he was talking about the controller not working, or the mild lag you get on some of the holes....my guess is you just had a really bad connection with whoever you were playing.  Are you DMZ'd Dan?  If so, I'm sure a reboot would cure it, if not get DMZ'd, and that should clear it up.

I had no club once this year. Don't think I could swing at all...can't remember. Reboot![:)]

DMZ did help me, Dan. [>:] I played using DSL for many years. [:D] My downloads always took forever and I often had to reboot. [:@] I recently upgraded to FIOS and the speed difference is quite noticeable. [&o] The download took just a few seconds this time and I have a lot less trouble with lag and connections. [8D]
